Our Work Peter Peter is a qualified journalist who joined Eastern Counties Newspapers (Now Archant) after leaving school and worked as a general reporter, sub editor and subsequently a sports editor. He also worked for a press agency in Nottingham and edited a weekly newspaper in Belper, Derbyshire. In 1989 he joined Norfolk Constabulary as their first civilian Press Officer and subsequently became Head of Media and Public Relations, Public Relations Manager, Marketing Manager, E-Communications Manager and finally Head of Marketing Operations. In 2006 he left Norfolk Constabulary to start his own pr agency - Postscript Media. Details of this can be found on his own web site. He now edits a number of web sites, covers the village of Hethersett for the Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury and Norwich Evening News newspapers and is also Crisis Response Manager of Media and Crisis Management - a company based in Norwich with clients in the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa. Peter has a Masters Degree from the University of East Anglia and his other qualifications include the National Council For Training of Journalists' Proficiency Certificate. He has an advance certificate in education, a diploma in sports psychology and a certificate in life coaching from Newcastle University. Peter has his own web site which can be accessed by clicking here. Anne Anne gained a BA degree in the early 70s from the University of East Anglia. She is a qualified Careers Officer and over the years has worked in the library at the Yorkshire Post and been a Careers Officer in Chester. After having had two sons, Anne trained as a teacher and has worked at Hethersett Woodside First School and for many years at Cringleford First School. Chris In 2004, Chris was awarded a BA (honours) degree in physical education from the University of Brighton. This also included a teaching qualification. In September 2004, he took up his first teaching post at Bexhill High School in Sussex and is currently Head of PE. Chris is a keen sportsman having played soccer for a number of teams including Hethersett Athletic, Sydley United and Little Common. He has also played football for Sussex. Chris was married to Lynne Phillips in August 2008. He currently lives in Eastbourne. Matt Matt was awarded a BA (honours) degree in physical education at Leeds Metropolitan University and is a police officer stationed in Norwich. Like Chris he is a keen sportsman, playing both soccer and cricket on a regular basis. He still lives in Hethersett with his partner Emma.. |
